About Chapel Creek

Chapel Creek is located between Hefner Blvd and NW 122nd Street near County Line Road. This northwesterly location provides the quiet that the community holds dear, while providing access to nearby amenities. Homeowners can enjoy the community offerings such as a park, playground for the kids, and walking trails that anyone can use.  A recent addition to the community has been the pool and cabana. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, all community members are free to use it.

Chapel Creek is another community that features a homeowners association as an added benefit. This association maintains the common areas, such as the parks and pool, and allows all members to vote on community changes and appointing chair people to maintain the rules and regulations of the community. The homeowners association also has an architectural committee that must approve any changes to lots and property. Annual homeowners association dues are $250.

The homeowners association plans community wide events such as movie nights, pool parties, and neighborhood garage sales that take place throughout the year. The homeowners association maintains an active Facebook page that you can view at any time for updates, lost and found, and any changes to community activities.

Types of Homes

Home prices in the Chapel Creek community start at $180,000. Chapel Creek homes are all single family homes and they are a minimum of 1,800 square feet and feature no more than 2 stories. If you’re looking for a garage, all garages must fit at least 2 cars. Another plus is that all household pets are permitted and Chapel Creek allows reptiles and fowls as well, however no other outdoor animals are permitted.

As previously mentioned, in keeping with the architectural harmony of the community, any additions or changes to a buyer’s property must be approved by the Architectural Committee of the members association. Any changes must be submitted and will be approved within 30 days of submission.


The City of Oklahoma City serves Chapel Creek as the utility company. OGE serves as the electric company for Chapel Creek neighborhood. Other available amenities include Cox Cable and AT&T.

Schools in the Area

The Piedmont school district services the Chapel Creek area. The schools include Piedmont Elementary School, Middle School of Piedmont, and Piedmont High School. If you are looking for universities or other classes, the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma Christian University are available for university studies, while Francis-Tuttle Technology Center is close by for any other studies.  

Medical Access

Within a 5 minute drive of Chapel Creek lies several doctors offices and an urgent care clinic. They are located to the south and the east of the community. The closest emergency room to Chapel Creek is at Mercy Hospital, less than 15 minutes to the northeast.

Nearby Amenities
While the Chapel Creek community is very quiet and secluded, there are plenty of amenities around it. Several gyms and fitness centers are within a 5 minute drive around the neighborhood, not to mention the abundant shopping off of NW Expressway, just minutes to the southeast. If you ever tire of the trails in Chapel or would like a change of scenery, then head 15 minutes east toward Lake Hefner. Lake Hefner features scenic drives, bike trails, walking trails, parks, playgrounds, and several restaurants as well.
